Overview The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) assists surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile and efficient operating room. CSTs are integral to surgical flow, anticipating needs and ensuring instrument readiness in complex cases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in surgical procedures and sterile techniques, with experience in operating room settings. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and supplies. Assist surgeons by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery. Manage inventory of surgical supplies. Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic. Collaborate with surgical teams for patient outcomes.
