If you're passionate about technology, sustainability, and global collaboration — you'll feel right at home with us.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesInspect parts visually for defectsPerform visual and gauge inspections to specificationPackage and label products as directed in WITrim all parts that need to be trimmedKeep cell or line assigned to him/her clean at all times to ensure the safety of the plantIdentify, dispose, and label scrapReport all problems with the product to technicians or supervisorOperate equipment used in the Molding area such as the band saw and pneumatic cutterIf the machine stops working, notify technicianFollow all safety procedures and report any safety problems to the supervisor immediately, as well as using 5s guidelines established for the departmentPerform all other duties as assignedInvolvement in our continuous improvement and safety initiativesCommunicate when uncertain of parts that may need to be scraped by contacting a supervisor or QA technician to inspect the productSupports the established Quality policyFulfills the role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructionLive our Core ValuesKnowledge & Skill Requirements:This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:High school graduate, GED or equivalent6 months of manufacturing experienceAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. standing/walking up to 12 hours per dayAbility to read and write English clearly and concisely.Ability to regulate a steady pace to meet production needsMust have the capability to correctly identify the different materials and productAbility to drive a forklift to move material as neededMust be able to work with minimum direction after being trainedCore Values:Respect for peopleQuality mindedCaring, Learning, & PerformanceCore and Critical Competencies:The following competencies in which all employees shall have a satisfactory level of skills:SafetyInterpersonal skillsCustomer focusTeam orientedQualityEthicsTechnical Skills:Repetitive hand motion with various tools and equipmentMechanical aptitudePhysical Requirements:Walking – frequently up to 12 hrsStanding – up to 12 hrsClimbing – occasionallySquatting/Stooping – occasionallyReaching – occasionallyLifting - up to 40# frequentlyLifting – 50# to 75# with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)Safety Requirements:The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.Must wear proper PPEContact person:Bethany Rea Human Resources Generalist View email address on click.appcast.io submit your application via the 'Apply' button.
