Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Skilled Nursing and Home Health - Full Time Location: GSS NE Syracuse Center, 1622 Walnut St, Syracuse, NE 68446, USA. Shift: Day. Job Schedule: Full time, 30‑35 hours per week. Salary: $24.00 - $38.50 per hour. Job Summary Assists patients, residents, and clients with therapy activities and exercises as scheduled in a treatment plan under the supervision of an occupational therapist, improving their quality of life and ability to perform daily activities. Provides, monitors, and records therapy services for individuals with physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial impairments. Selects and implements therapeutic activities, documents responses, and contributes to outcome evaluation. Performs other related duties as requested. Work may focus on post‑acute, long‑term care, and home health environments. Travel between home‑health patients is paid. Qualifications Diploma from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. License as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice. When working at a Sanford Health Facility (preferred) must hold NBCOT certification. Valid driver’s license (when applicable). BLS certification required within six months of employment.
