Application Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the Municipal business, the full-time Senior Municipal Applications Engineer will leverage expertise in pumps and municipal water/wastewater systems to assist with pump selections, develop proposals, and provide technical support to distributors and customers, while potentially working remotely. Key responsibilities Review customer specifications and prepare comprehensive proposals Select optimal centrifugal pump configurations using proprietary software tools Provide technical support and manage orders from quote to delivery Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related technical field 10+ years of experience with rotating equipment, preferably centrifugal pumps Familiarity with generating technical quotations and processing customer orders Knowledge of municipal water and wastewater systems is preferred Proficiency with MS Office and pump selection software
