This outpatient psychiatric facility delivers mental health services to a patient population spanning all ages within a structured clinical environment. The facility is able to complete credentialing in less than 30 days, supporting a timely transition into clinical practice. Locum tenens coverage is sought for an initial period of approximately six months, with transportation and housing costs covered for the assignment.

Columbus, Nebraska and the surrounding Platte County region offer a range of recreational and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Visitors may enjoy thoroughbred racing at Columbus Races, water recreation at Pawnee Plunge Water Park and Lake North, and green spaces such as Gerrard Park. The area also features cultural institutions including the Platte County Historical Society and Museum, as well as community amenities such as the Columbus Public Library and Central Community College.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for a patient population spanning all ages, working day shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus 8 hours of dedicated administrative time, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting new patient psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes per initial evaluation) and follow-up appointments (30 minutes per visit) for patients across all age groups. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
