Radiologic Technologist With Mammography Certification
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography Certification to provide imaging services at the Mescalero Service Unit. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic Radiographic and Mammographic examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
$90,000 - $100,000 a year
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Radiologic and Mammographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain Radiographic and mammography equipment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Follow guidelines set by Indian Health Service (IHS) and other regulatory bodies.
- Maintain high standards of infection control and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Mammography Certification (ARRT(M) preferred).
- Minimum one year of experience in radiology and mammography.
- Knowledge of Radiographic techniques, safety protocols, and patient care standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compliance with Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Buy Indian Act preferred.
