New 2ND Capital is hiring an Investment Associate for our growing team in the New York office. The candidate should have 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit or GP-led secondaries. See below for further qualification details. New 2ND Capital New 2ND Capital is a private equity firm specializing in middle-market GP-led secondaries transactions in North America. The firm was founded in 2016 and is currently investing its third fund . New 2ND Capital funds and vehicles have US$ 2.4 billion regulatory assets under management per December 31, 2024. This role at New 2ND Capital will provide exposure to many facets of the private equity universe, including company assessment and valuation, transaction structuring, and manager evaluation. New 2ND Capital has a lean, entrepreneurial environment, and candidates have the opportunity to wear a variety of hats as needed, including both investment and business building work. We are looking for motivated self-starters with strong investment acumen and high level of analytical ability. Responsibilities Comprehensive due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including company, sponsor and industry research Creation of detailed financial projections of possible investments Drafting investment memoranda, presenting research, and the ability to discuss and analyze the merits of an investment Existing portfolio monitoring and supporting any follow-on investments Active involvement in executing sourcing strategy Assist in fundraising efforts as needed Qualifications Two to four years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit or GP-led secondaries. Venture capital, energy & natural resources and real estate experience will not be considered. Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic achievement required Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities Ability to analyze a wide variety of businesses and write investment memoranda Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work on a wide range of tasks Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and on a team #J-18808-Ljbffr
