Restoration Crew LeadSERVPRO of Rock County Pay Range: $18-$21/hour DOESchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, plus rotating on-call responsibilitiesA day in the life of a Restoration Crew Lead at ServproAs a Restoration Crew Lead, you'll be responsible for leading restoration projects throughout Rock County while helping customers recover from water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage events. Your day may begin by meeting your crew at the shop, reviewing the schedule, loading equipment, and heading to a residential or commercial loss. Once on site, you'll communicate with customers, assess the scope of work, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure all work is completed safely and according to SERVPRO standards. Throughout the day, you'll perform and oversee water mitigation, demolition, equipment setup, moisture monitoring, documentation, and customer communication. You'll work closely with Project Managers to keep projects moving forward while ensuring technicians have the tools, guidance, and support they need to be successful. This role requires someone who is comfortable leading a team, making decisions in the field, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in challenging situations.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead restoration technicians on residential and commercial restoration projectsPerform water mitigation, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, and storm damage restoration servicesCommunicate professionally with customers regarding project progress and expectationsSet up, monitor, and remove drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and specialty equipmentPerform demolition and mitigation activities as neededComplete moisture readings, job documentation, and daily project notesTake required photos and maintain accurate project recordsEnsure job sites remain clean, organized, and safeTrain and mentor restoration techniciansAssist with quality control and adherence to SERVPRO production standardsMaintain communication with Project Managers regarding project status and concernsFollow all SERVPRO safety policies and proceduresParticipate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency losses as neededRequired Skills & ExperiencePrevious restoration, construction, mitigation, or leadership experience preferredIICRC certifications preferred but not requiredExperience leading or supervising employees preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in the fieldStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsBasic computer and smartphone proficiencyValid driver's license and insurable driving record requiredAbility to successfully pass a background checkPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spacesAbility to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditionsAbility to safely operate restoration equipment and hand toolsAbility to wear required PPE, including respirators when necessaryWork EnvironmentFull-time position supporting restoration projects throughout Rock County and surrounding communitiesTypical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMRotating on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergency responseResidential, commercial, and industrial job site environmentsFast-paced team environment with opportunities for advancementImportant InformationHealth insurance is not currently offered401(k) with company match available after eligibility requirements are metCompany vehicle may be available based on position and responsibilitiesOn-call participation is requiredReliability, attendance, leadership, safety, documentation, and customer service are critical to success in this roleWhat We're Looking ForSomeone who leads by example and takes ownership of their workStrong work ethic and positive attitudeDependable attendance and punctualityExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to train, motivate, and support team membersCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipSomeone who remains calm, professional, and solution-focused during emergency situationsA team player who takes pride in helping customers and supporting coworkersAt SERVPRO, our Crew Leads are the backbone of our field operations.
