Role Description This full-time Civil/Structural Engineer role is based in Louisiana or Texas. The engineer will perform structural and civil design for marine and industrial facilities, including terminals, piers, and related infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing engineering calculations, conducting structural analysis, developing design documents, and producing drawings in coordination with CAD staff. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting construction management activities, and assisting with inspections and assessments of existing facilities. The engineer will also help ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements, and may contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and technical reports. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering for industrial and marine projects. Strong skills in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations for steel, concrete, and other structural systems. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana and/or Texas or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe is preferred. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE, and marine/industrial design guidelines). Ability to work on-site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in written and verbal formats. Experience with industrial marine, port, or terminal projects is beneficial, as is familiarity with construction practices and field inspections. #J-18808-Ljbffr
