Senior Health Planner

HDR is seeking a Senior Health Planner to support our growing health practice in delivering integrated healthcare planning and design worldwide. Primary Responsibilities Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects and pursuits Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings Prepare drawings and specification documents Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials Understand healthcare trends Prepare health planning presentation drawings, diagrams, and narratives Assist coordination of all disciplines related to building design and health planning Mentor junior staff or interested colleagues in health planning practices Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field A minimum of 12 years related experience Strong organizational skills Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models Commitment to being an active participant of the employee‑owned culture Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Architecture Minimum 10 years' experience in Health Architecture Minimum 7 years’ experience in Health Planning Willingness to travel Knowledge and experience of healthcare architecture planning and design Capable of making client presentations Leadership and management skills required Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and flexible Excellent verbal and written communication skills Primary Location United States, Arizona, Phoenix Other Locations United States, Arizona, Tucson Schedule Full‑time Employee Status Regular At HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.
