Risk Analyst - Risk Management - Central Regional Hospital

Job Title Quality Assurance/Standards Specialist (NS) Position Number: 60044325 Grade: NC17 Description of Work The purpose of the Risk Analyst position is to investigate various incidents that occur at the facility. The role partners with patient advocates to complete management investigations associated with patient allegations of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or rights infringement. Document findings regarding overall quality of care, violations of facility policy, and other pertinent facts related to each incident. Work with management to develop follow‑up actions and improvement strategies. Participate in audits related to patient safety issues, inspections, potential hazards, patient rights issues, and/or restrictive interventions. Ensure timely review of video surveillance. Serve as a consultant to PI teams in developing improvement strategies related to patient safety processes and procedures. Review incident reports and adverse event data to assist in identifying trends. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge of inpatient hospital systems, preferably CRH units and departments. Working knowledge of risk management and performance improvement. Ability to develop recommendations and provide consultation to solve problems in different program areas, exercising judgment in interpreting and applying standards, policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form with various staff, assess problems and coordinate resolutions. Good analytical skills and ability to work well with limited supervision and flexible scheduling. Conditional Requirements Experience preferred in psychiatric setting and risk management. ADA physical requirements will be discussed during the interview. Salary and Recruitment Range Salary Range: $60,881.00 – $106,544.00 Recruitment Range: $60,881 – $70,000 Compensation and Benefits Full‑time position eligible for the full State benefits package.
