Special Education SETSS Teacher (K-12) - Bronx
We are seeking a New York State certified Special Education / Students with Disabilities - SETSS teacher to join our team in the Bronx. This is a contract position with competitive pay, providing in-person, one-on-one, and small group instruction in Math and ELA.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and instruct students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
- Track student attendance and write monthly progress reports.
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Ensure the health and safety of all students.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:15 am–2:00 pm (grades 9-12)
- Tuesday - Thursday, 2:45 pm–4:30 pm (grades K-8)
What We're Looking For:
- New York State Special Education / Students with Disabilities Certification (Initial, Permanent, K-12, Transitional B or Literacy).
- Experience working with students in small groups.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Fingerprint clearance.
Compensation:
- Salary: $1,900 per week
- Job Type: Contract, Part-time
- Payroll: Semi-monthly
