Senior Firmware Engineer

We’re working with a well-funded, engineering‑led defense technology startup developing next‑generation autonomous systems designed to operate in highly challenging, real‑world environments. The Role We’re looking for a Firmware Engineer to play a key role in developing high‑performance embedded systems for advanced electromechanical platforms. You’ll be working on real‑time control software and tightly integrated hardware systems in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. What You’ll Be Doing Develop real‑time embedded software in C++ for performance‑critical applications Design and implement firmware for microcontroller‑based systems Interpret datasheets and contribute to schematic design across digital and analog circuits Collaborate on system architecture across hardware and software boundaries Test, debug, and validate embedded systems in both lab and real‑world environments Optimize performance, latency, and power consumption on constrained hardware Document designs, architectures, and test procedures What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware and electrical design Strong C++ experience in real‑time or safety‑critical systems Background in microcontroller‑based systems and embedded circuit design Experience with hardware bring‑up, testing, and debugging Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar #J-18808-Ljbffr Engtal Inc
