Senior Actuary

$13,413.00 - $16,794.00 per Month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Under direction of the Actuary Supervisor, the Actuary will perform actuarial duties and assignments in the Valuation Services Unit within the Actuarial Office of the California Public Retirement System (CalPERS).

Possession of an associateship or fellowship with the Society of Actuaries is required.

Telework Information

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Salary Range for Minimum Requirements: $13,413.00 - $16,794.00.

When applicable, ACTUARY shall consider salary ranges: $11,092.00 - $13,890.00A; $12,089.00 - $14,723.00B.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
