Position Overview NAV Logistics INC is expanding its Houston sales team and is looking for motivated, competitive, and results-drivenFreight Brokers / Account Executives. This is afull-cycle brokerage role, where you will be responsible for developing and managing your own book of business. You will work directly with shippers and carriers while managing shipments from the initial sales call through final delivery. If you are confident on the phone, highly motivated by earning potential, comfortable with sales rejection, and thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales:Prospect new customers through high-volume outbound calls, develop relationships with shippers, and generate recurring freight business across FTL, LTL, Flatbed, Drayage, and other transportation services. Customer Account Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, provide competitive quotes and market updates, and become a trusted transportation partner. Carrier Sourcing:Use industry-leading load boards such as DAT One and Truckstop to identify qualified carriers and secure capacity. Rate Negotiation:Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers while maintaining strong margins and providing competitive pricing. Load Management:Coordinate shipments from booking through pickup and delivery, including dispatching, tracking, and resolving issues along the way. Full-Cycle Ownership:Manage the entire shipment process while maintaining strong communication with both customers and carriers. Team Collaboration:Work closely with our dedicated back-office team for billing, invoicing, carrier compliance, credit checks, and administrative support. Qualifications We are looking for individuals who are motivated, competitive, and coachable, and eager to build a successful career in logistics and sales. Experience:1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or a high-volume sales environment. Sales Skills:Proven ability or strong interest in prospecting, cold calling, relationship building, negotiation, and closing business. Communication:Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a confident and professional phone presence. Drive & Motivation:Strong desire to succeed financially, willingness to make high-volume calls, and resilience when dealing with rejection. Coachability:Ability to learn quickly, accept feedback, and adapt to new processes, technology, and TMS platforms. Work Ethic:Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. In-Person Requirement:Must be available to work100% in personat our Houston, TX office.
