Director of Marketing and Admissions

Chesterton Academy of Orlando, a classical high school rooted in the Catholic faith, seeks a joyful, mission-driven Director of Marketing and Admissions to lead not only the school's marketing and digital communications but also its recruitment, admissions, and enrollment process. This position is responsible for increasing awareness of the school among prospective families, local parish communities, and the broader Central Florida community. The Director will translate the school's distinctive mission, curriculum, student life, and culture into compelling communications that strengthen the school's reputation and contribute directly to enrollment growth. He or she will also own the prospective- family experience: responding to inquiries, managing applications and admissions records, and guiding accepted families through enrollment. Primary Responsibilities: Marketing Develop and execute an annual marketing and communications plan to increase awareness of the school throughout Central Florida. Create and distribute high-quality written, photographic, video, and graphic marketing materials, including a weekly family newsletter and a quarterly mass newsletter. Maintain an organized library of approved photographs, videos, testimonials, logos, and other marketing assets. Develop parent, student, alumni, and faculty testimonials. Website and Digital Communications Manage the school's social media presence across appropriate platforms. Manage and regularly update the school website; develop landing pages for admissions, development, athletics, and other departments and create RSVP portals (where necessary) for school events. Create and publish compelling content featuring students, faculty, alumni, parents, academics, athletics, fine arts, and events in the life of the school. Monitor online and social media engagement and use analytics to improve digital communications. Public Relations and Community Outreach Serve as a point of contact for external communications and public relations. Work with other members of the administration to cultivate relationships with Catholic parishes, homeschool communities, Catholic organizations, feeder schools, and other community partners. Identify opportunities for positive media coverage and community visibility. Prepare press releases, announcements, and other external communications. Represent Chesterton Academy at high-school fairs, relevant parish and Catholic education events, and community gatherings. Recruitment and Admissions Develop and execute an annual admissions and recruitment plan in collaboration with the Headmaster. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, providing accurate information about all aspects of the school and guiding them throughout the admissions process. Plan and execute prospective-family events, including open houses, information nights, campus tours, shadow days, and placement-testing days. Recruit and train student ambassadors to serve as hosts, tour guides, and presenters. Enrollment Manage the admissions process through the school's designated admissions platform. Communicate deadlines and requirements to families, and coordinate family/student interviews with the Headmaster. Review application files for completeness and accuracy and prepare them for the Headmaster's admissions decisions. Communicate admissions decisions professionally and promptly. Maintain accurate prospective-family and student records. Requirements/Qualifications: Mission-Alignment Active and practicing Catholic who supports the full teachings of the Catholic Church, specifically regarding matters related to faith and morals, and is willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church Familiarity with and willingness to promote the stated mission of Chesterton Academy and its vision and approach to classical education Experience 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, brand management, or a related field 3+ years of hands-on social media experience across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube 2+ years of experience leading marketing initiatives, campaigns, or a team Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite/Ads Manager, MailChimp, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other relevant platforms Skills Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy Ability to create and manage engaging social media content, including copy, graphics, short-form video, and stories/reels Knowledge of social media analytics, insights, and performance reporting Familiarity with email marketing, SEO, website content, and digital advertising Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent, proven organization and and project management skills, including the capacity to coordinate tasks amongst various team members and coordinate multiple projects at a time Must be able to form and cultivate relationships with a wide range of staff, faculty, parents, prospective students, and parish representatives Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office products (or Google Docs and Sheets) Other Experience working in a school environment is preferred Proficiency with student management software is preferred Bachelor's Degree required #J-18808-Ljbffr
