We’re seeking an Automation Technician III to keep our automated material handling operation running at peak performance. If diagnosing PLC networks, repairing conveyors, and tuning robotic arms sounds like your kind of night, read on.

• Rapidly restore uptime across the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) by isolating faults at the system, subsystem, or component level and communicating repair plans and timelines to management.
• Service conveyor fieldbus networks—address devices, run diagnostics, and replace communication components.
• Repair conveyor mechanics: chains, belting, rollers, drive motors; realign/replace photo‑eyes, proximity sensors, and other controls sensors.
• Reload parameters and perform maintenance on Allen‑Bradley PLCs; service industrial PCs and server-based control platforms; reprogram and align electronic sensors.
• Complete PMs, calibrations, and adjustments on multi‑axis robotic arms and End‑of‑Arm Tools; perform routine conveyor PMs.
• Accurately document work orders, parts usage, and labor time in Maximo; leave work areas clean and organized, removing replaced parts.
• Coach peer technicians on troubleshooting techniques and repair procedures as needed.

• Working knowledge of 480/277/120V (single and three phase)
• Advanced Allen‑Bradley PLC and network diagnostics/troubleshooting
• Stick or MIG welding experience is a plus
• Comfort with physically demanding tasks: inspections, mechanical repairs, ladder work, carrying tools/parts
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); able to work independently from procedures and manuals

• 5–7 years: Associate’s in Electrical or Mechanical studies, or 5+ years equivalent electro‑mechanical experience
• 5–7 years: Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns; comprehension of complex automation drawings and component spec sheets
• 5–7 years: Proven aptitude to replace electrical/mechanical components on Symbotic Rovers (BOTS) and perform PMs

• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM
• Base pay: $29–$40/hour
• Night differential: +$1.00/hour for hours worked between 5 PM and 5 AM
• Weekend premium: +$1.50/hour for hours worked from 5 PM Friday to 5 AM Monday
