Principal Electrical Engineer

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:

• Lead and collaborate on new product development activities
• Work with cross-functional local and global development teams.
• Prepare detailed plans, schematics, printed circuit board layouts, and assemblies to create and qualify designs.
• Perform a variety of electronic testing using common laboratory equipment.
• Provide guidance to others on technical matters.
• Research and develop new ideas and technologies for implementation into our products.
• Provide technical support for existing products.

WHO YOU ARE: You are a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can set and achieve goals. You are interested in learning, apply technical rigor in problem solving and analysis. Collaborate well with others, willing to take feedback and personal responsibility for decisions. You communicate effectively in various settings (e.g. one-on-one, groups, and written).

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• 8+ years of applicable experience in Electrical Engineering
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with high resolution low power analog to digital (A/D) measurement circuits
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools
• Track record of successful hardware system development
• Experience with international safety and hazardous location design, including intrinsic safety
• Experience with international EMC requirements and design techniques
• Experience with Cadence Tools (schematic capture, PCB layout)

Our training programs and initiatives focus on end-to-end development, from onboarding through senior leadership. We provide a wide range of development opportunities, including face-to-face and virtual training, mentorship and coaching, project management, and on-the-job training.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $132,000-$152,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
