Job Overview Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Distribution Centers or Retail Stores. This role supports multiple departments or retail locations, assisting leaders with HR issues and implementing services, policies, and programs that foster a high-performance, employee-oriented culture. The HRBP plays a key role in empowering employees, driving productivity, supporting compliance, and ensuring quality standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and managing confidential matters with discretion. Key Skills for Success Core Competencies & Expertise Employee Relations - Conduct confidential investigations, resolve employee concerns, and maintain positive workplace relationships. Recruitment & Staffing - Lead hiring efforts for multiple locations, including talent sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. Performance Management - Support managers in goal setting, coaching, and performance evaluations. HR Systems - Proficient in HRIS platforms for employee data management and reporting. Talent Management & Succession Planning - Assist in identifying high-potential talent and future leaders. Compliance & Employment Law - Ensure HR policies align with federal, state, and local employment laws. Safety & Employee Well-being - Promote a safe work environment and employee wellness initiatives. Organizational Skills - Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation while managing multiple priorities. Preferred Competencies & Skills Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
