Job Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Oversees the provision of high-quality nursing care for patients throughout their lifespan, while also managing operational matters during their shift. Offers clinical support as necessary based on patient volume. Effectively communicates patient care updates, departmental challenges, and staff issues to the relevant leadership. Acts as a resource for staff, providing guidance and support.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one year of nursing experience within a hospital environment is required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Having two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting is advantageous. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus. Proven clinical competency is essential.
