Website Specialist

Montana Silversmiths is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Website Specialist to lead the performance, functionality, and customer experience of our B2B and direct-to-consumer (D2C) ecommerce websites. This role is responsible for managing the technical health of our websites while also driving engaging digital experiences that support revenue growth, customer acquisition, and brand objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong ecommerce and website management expertise with a strategic marketing mindset. You will play a key role in optimizing website performance, managing development initiatives, executing digital campaigns, supporting product launches, and enhancing the overall customer journey.

Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Performance & Platform Management

• Maintain the overall health, functionality, and performance of B2B and D2C websites.
• Identify, prioritize, and coordinate website updates, bug fixes, and security enhancements.
• Monitor website speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals performance.
• Manage development requests and collaborate with technical partners to implement improvements.
• Regularly audit websites for usability issues, broken links, and optimization opportunities.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and accessibility standards, including GDPR, CCPA, ADA, and WCAG.
• Support secure ecommerce operations and implement best practices for customer data protection.

Third-Party Integrations

• Manage and optimize integrations with key ecommerce and marketing platforms, including payment gateways, shipping solutions, and customer engagement tools.
• Oversee integrations such as Braintree, Zonos, Attentive, AudioEye, Jetrails, Folio3, and other business-critical systems.
• Maintain product feed accuracy and functionality across both websites.

Development & Project Management

• Create and prioritize development tickets and coordinate sprint planning.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) efforts.
• Oversee production releases and ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on ongoing website enhancements.

Content & Customer Experience

• Manage homepage content, landing pages, promotional campaigns, blog content, and customer-facing website experiences.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop assets that support marketing campaigns and business objectives.
• Optimize digital experiences to improve engagement, conversion rates, and revenue.

Ecommerce Merchandising

• Maintain category pages and product listing pages (PLPs) to support promotional calendars and merchandising strategies.
• Work closely with retention marketing teams to align website merchandising with email and SMS campaigns.

SEO & Traffic Growth

• Execute on-page SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and website performance.
• Identify opportunities to grow search rankings, traffic, and conversions through website optimization.

Product Launches & Custom Product Experience

• Lead the technical implementation of quarterly product launches across B2B and D2C websites.
• Oversee and optimize the Buckle Builder custom product platform to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor key website performance indicators, including traffic, conversions, bounce rates, and customer engagement metrics.
• Develop regular reporting and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on website and campaign performance.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce, website management, or digital marketing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
