Position Interim Hospital House Mechanic (Maintenance Engineer) Location Southern California (LA Area) Compensation $42 - $45 per hour Job Description The Hospital Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the healthcare facility. Requires at least 2 years of experience in healthcare facility management, strong maintenance skills, and dedication to servant leadership. Ideal candidate will possess expertise in legal and regulatory compliance, organization, financial stewardship, and human resources management. Essential Skills and Experience Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure proper functioning of equipment and systems Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities, including safety standards and environmental regulations Assist with budget management and resource allocation to support efficient maintenance operations Support human resources management efforts, including hiring, training, and staff development initiatives Utilize technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment maintenance to address facility needs Communicate effectively with staff and patients, providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements for healthcare facilities and ensure adherence to guidelines Preferred Experience and Skills 5+ years of experience in healthcare facility Proficiency in diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment and monitoring systems Additional technical skills such as construction sequencing, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Information Systems/Technology (IS/T) #J-18808-Ljbffr Red E Services
