Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized speech therapy services to patients, assisting in the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and progress.
• Document patient progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy exercises and strategies.
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards and facility protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license or certification.
• Proven experience in speech therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work part-time hours regularly (25-30 hours/week).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
