This is a long-term locum tenens engagement offering a flexible block scheduling model and robust clinical support in a Level II Trauma Center operating as a Level I. Opportunity Highlights Location: Florence, South Carolina Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Schedule: 8-Hour Night Shifts | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Shift Volume: 15-20 shifts per month Credentialing: Expedited timeline available Travel & Lodging: Full support provided Malpractice: AAA-rated coverage included Emergency Department Snapshot Annual ED Volume: ~75,000 visits Average Daily Census: 190 patients ED Beds: 80 (2021 newly built facility) Trauma Level: Level II (operates as Level I) EMR: EPIC Team Structure: 10 Emergency Physicians 5 APPs (NP/PA mix) Scribe coverage provided Transfer Rate: Very low — only burn, amputations, select OB Procedures: All standard EM procedures Population: Must be comfortable with all age groups Required Qualifications Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM Residency Training: Emergency Medicine Licensure: Active South Carolina Medical License or ability to obtain Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS Experience: Recent high-volume ED experience (Level I/II preferred) Case Logs: Must reflect full-spectrum emergency procedures Why Choose Rhino Medical?
