The schedule may change due to business needs.Job Summary:The Vehicle Purchasing / Retail Sales Associate will answer phones, secure a price from their store's car buyer, and help facilitate the car's purchase. The Vehicle Purchasing / Retail Sales Associate will receive all vehicles in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should be friendly and confident, with excellent attention to detail and customer service skills. This position requires basic automotive parts knowledge and the ability to lift 50 lbs when needed. Knowledge and experience working as a cashier are required. This position is full-time and includes weekend work. A bilingual candidate (Spanish) is desired.Primary Responsibilities:Ensure customers' calls are answered in a timely manner and with the highest level of customer service.Ensure all data is entered into the appropriate computer systems to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Work with the store's car buyer to obtain the best deal for the company and the customer.Mark the tire and wheel sets upon receiving the car to identify the best sets for resale.Work as a team to achieve team and company goals.Maintain a high level of integrity.Work hours as scheduled.Be a team player to achieve goals.Maintain a high level of integrity.Follow all company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDExperience with Microsoft Office and the InternetProven Cashier experienceKnowledge of automotive partsAbility to lift tires and batteries weighing up to 50 lbs.Maintain a consistent work scheduleAbility to work retail hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidaysPrior customer service and data entry experienceMust have a reliable means of transportation to getMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishMust be able to pass a drug and background testBilingual Spanish -desiredJob Conditions:Exposure to outdoors/weather conditions for times when you must go outside into the yard.Regular sitting, standing, bending, and walking as needed to provide proper customer service and to complete vehicle receiving duties.We look forward to receiving your resume!
