The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a part-time Finance Manager to work for a financial services firm that provides accounting and HR services to non-profit organizations. This individual will work with clients to ensure data and reporting accuracy and overall financial compliance. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual with a solid payroll or accounting background who is looking to work about 20-30 hours per week. This is a remote opportunity, but the individual must reside in DC, VA, MD, or NY.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
• Verify financial transactions including payroll, GL postings, AP and AR
• Process payroll and collect timesheets
• Retrieve credit card and other transactions for the finance team to reconcile
• Process retirement account contributions

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field preferred
• 5+ years accounting experience, with at least three years at the senior account level or above
• Non-profit experience preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, or Paychex
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Candidates must be located in DC, MD, VA or NY 

Compensation:

• $35/hr. 

Candidates for this position must reside in DC, MD, VA, or NY area or have independent plans for relocation.
