Finance Analyst II, Distribution Location: Charlotte, NC, US, 28216 Date: May 13, 2026 Company: Corning Role Purpose The Distribution Financial Analyst II will support the Distribution Controller for COC, managing the complexities of the distribution space and contributing directly to profitability. Key Responsibilities Coordinate month end closing activities for the COC division pertaining to rebates and ship/debits, along with other distributor promotional activities, and manage accounting entries and related internal controls. Lead a sustainable process for ship/debit deductions from execution, tracking and forecasting. Create and manage a process to validate and audit ship/debits and mitigate discrepancies. Support rebate tracking and analysis, process rebate payments, and other promotional credits. Gain understanding of the distribution process from quote to order to ship and debit to maximize efficiencies and minimize financial loss. Drive Division finance process improvement. Embrace digital and AI‑related solutions. Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis as required. Participate in Finance‑related KSIs to support goals and objectives. Experiences/Education – Required Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience working on cross‑functional teams to solve complex business problems. Knowledge of financial and management accounting, including systems, compliance, and reporting requirements. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a curious mindset to explore underlying drivers and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. Ability to manage multiple priorities across customers, projects, and stakeholders while maintaining a high level of service and accuracy. Innovative mindset with a digital‑and data‑focused approach to finance, driving continuous improvement through automation, system enhancements, and adoption of new tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills, effective in one‑on‑one, cross‑functional, and executive settings. Proficiency with core finance and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Khalix/Longview, Power BI, Power Query, and Databricks. Experiences/Education – Desired Performance Excellence experience (Six Sigma, lean processes). Experience with Distribution customers. This position does not support immigration sponsorship. Salary Range: $67,342.00 - $92,595.00 for full‑time status.
