OB Hospitalist Locums Opportunity - Red Bluff, CA AvailabilityCoverage Dates
- June 30 (7:00 AM start) - July 7 (7:00 AM end)
- Ongoing dates (TBD)
- 24-hour in-house call coverage (OB & GYN ED)
- No clinic or office responsibilities
- Provider not required to stay in-house
- Must remain within 20-minute response time
- Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Board Certified OB/GYN highly preferred
- Board Eligible accepted if:
- Currently credentialed at another Joint Commission-accredited hospital without monitoring
- OB/GYN residency required
- IM or Family Medicine background acceptable if OB/GYN trained per requirements
- Active California medical license required
- BLS required
- DEA required
- NRP highly preferred (required during credentialing preferred)
- PALS highly preferred
- Local candidates strongly preferred
- Inpatient / Emergency Department OB coverage
- Full scope OB/GYN practice (no clinic duties)
- 16-20 patients per day
- 40 deliveries per month (varies)
- No NICU on-site
- Full scope OB/GYN emergency and inpatient coverage
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Gynecologic surgeries
- OB/GYN emergency department consults
- Dedicated Medical Assistant (MA)
- Practice Manager support
- Cerner
- Permanent provider reducing coverage leading to locum need
- High-acuity OB/GYN ED call structure
- 24-hour shift-based coverage model
- Must maintain rapid response availability within 20 minutes during call period
