Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide exceptional care to patients in the ICU with varied diagnoses including sepsis, CHF, and respiratory illnesses
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage critical care drips, ART lines, and CVPs
• Administer medications, including TNK and blood products, and manage PCA pumps
• Perform wound care, chest tube management, and stroke assessments
• Collaborate with physicians, RTs, and the multi-disciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• 18 months to 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in stroke assessments and critical care technology management
