Associate Systems Engineer - Herndon

Salary: $62,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements:

• We require applicants to be currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or to have earned that degree within the past 12 months.
• We look for candidates who can obtain a security clearance; some roles may require U.S. citizenship and eligibility for access to classified information.
• We expect familiarity with software tools, scripting, and troubleshooting across software and hardware environments.
• We value the ability to work with systems requirements and support the evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.

• We perform operational analysis and help develop concepts of operations, design approaches, and implementation plans.
• We create test plans, procedures, and test cases.
• We execute tests and document the outcomes.
• We use software tools, scripting, and troubleshooting methods to resolve issues.
• We analyze system requirements from end users and operational systems.
• We support the development and assessment of complex system architectures and designs.
• We prepare and deliver presentations that communicate design activities, plans, and status to internal and external stakeholders.
