Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located. Preferred qualifications: Experience providing pragmatic advice to clients in a fast paced, changing environment. Experience and interest in working on intermediary liability issues. Experience and interest with emerging technologies, including the integration of AI into daily practice. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues with multiple stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Provide legal counsel on trademark intermediary liability issues, including developing removal policies, advising on removal requests, and counseling product teams. Counsel product teams on the deployment, use, and trademark implications of emerging technologies, including generative AI. Review and manage trademark clearance searches. Register Google’s trademarks globally. Enforce Google’s trademarks around the world and manage contested matters related to trademarks, counterfeits, and domain names.
