Description:
This position involves working in an intermediate care setting.
The patient population includes a mix of med-surg, telemetry, cardiac, and neuro patients, as well as CVA patients.
Charge responsibility is required, and appropriate pay differential and training will be provided.
Prior travel experience is required for all positions.
Candidates must be adaptable to unit needs, which may vary staffing requirements.
The unit typically follows a schedule that includes two out of three weekends a month, though this is subject to change based on unit demands.
All team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires.
Availability to work at least one major holiday during the holiday season is essential.
Familiarity with Cerner is preferred.
Candidates must be prepared to provide a work history that includes explanations for gaps exceeding 90 days.
All requested time off must be submitted with the application packet.
Floating to other areas is not required.
