Step into a meaningful role supporting early childhood development as a physical therapist on a flexible, part-time contract. In this position, you'll focus primarily on diagnostic assessments and evaluations for young learners while recommending vital physical therapy services. With your expertise, you'll also provide valuable assistance to the ongoing team, taking on select caseloads to help cover while a colleague is on maternity leave. This is a hands-on, in-person opportunity—virtual services have not met the center's needs, so your direct presence will make a real difference.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Missouri physical therapy license (please include license number with your application)
• Prior experience in early childhood or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in performing evaluations, assessments, and formulating individualized recommendations
• Comfortable collaborating with other professionals and families, and adapting to changing caseload needs
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments for young children to determine physical therapy needs
• Recommend services based on evaluations
• Manage a flexible, part-time caseload—primarily diagnostic work with occasional overflow treatment cases as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s physical development
• Provide thorough documentation of evaluations, services recommended, and ongoing progress

Position Details & Perks:

• Contract role running from start date through December 1st
• No more than 20 hours per week—flexible scheduling available, with mornings preferred, but candidate’s preferred days can be accommodated
