Inspire young minds and create meaningful learning experiences as an elementary general education teacher. Seeking passionate educators to engage students in a supportive and innovative environment, providing foundational instruction that sets learners on the path to academic and personal success. This is a contract position for the full academic year, starting August 11, 2026, and ending May 27, 2027, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current elementary general education certification (K-6), valid in Alabama
• Experience in general education classrooms, ideally at the elementary level
• Skill in fostering a welcoming, dynamic classroom environment for diverse learners
• Comfortable using technology to enhance instruction and student engagement
• Strong communication skills for positive interactions with students, caregivers, and fellow staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans across core subjects, supporting student growth and foundational skill-building
• Establish strong rapport with students, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere
• Encourage students’ curiosity, motivation, and confidence in their abilities
• Utilize technology and creative teaching methods to support learning and prepare students for 21st-century skills
• Foster productive partnerships with families, colleagues, volunteers, and school visitors
• Maintain classroom organization, manage student behavior positively, and adapt as directed by the school principal
