IT Business Relationship Manager, Quality

Abbott seeks an IT Business Relationship Manager for its Diabetes Care Quality function in Alameda, California. This onsite role bridges Quality leadership and IT delivery, aligning technology capabilities with regulatory requirements, operational priorities, and business outcomes through strategic planning and stakeholder partnership.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary IT business partner for Quality function, aligning technology with regulatory and operational needs
- Develop and maintain portfolios of quality-enabled technology capabilities and multi-year roadmaps
- Lead demand shaping by qualifying business needs and facilitating stakeholder prioritization
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities involving technology systems and processes
- Communicate business priorities and acceptance criteria to IT delivery and validation teams
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, CAPA, and regulatory compliance processes
- Experience in IT business relationship management or similar stakeholder engagement role
- Understanding of GxP, Computer System Validation, and data integrity principles
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and portfolios
- Track record building trusted relationships across business, IT, and compliance functions
- Medical device industry experience preferred
