IT Technician

Technology Repair TechnicianPart time, entry level position for set-up, maintenance, and repair of the school district's technology equipment and software. Assists other technology department members with various technology support tasks, as needed. This position is up to 29.5 hours a week.ResponsibilitiesProvide technology-related troubleshooting and repair for school district devices.Complete tasks and special projects, including but not limited to: device distributions, collections, network troubleshooting, hardware/software installations, and operating system upgrades.Determine and resolve basic end-user computing issues.Problem-solve and rectify basic hardware and software issues.Inform Supervisor and/or the Director of necessary purchases/order relating to technology device repairs.Maintain familiarity with Mac, Windows, Chrome and other applicable operating systems along with district hardware and software programs.Assume such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director or designee.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED, with technology training and/or courseworkPA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification – Act 24PA State Police Criminal History Clearance – Act 34Federal Criminal History Clearance – Act 114Child Abuse Clearance – Act 151Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release – Act 168Tuberculosis Test/PhysicalAs leaders in the education staffing space since 2000, ESS specializes in placing qualified staff in daily, long-term, and permanent K-12 school district positions including substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school support staff.
