POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a warm, dependable, and compassionate Caregiver Non-Medical to join our growing team. As a Caregiver at Aphroditi Homecare & Maintenance, you will provide personalized, non-medical care to clients in their homes — supporting their daily routines, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life. No two care plans are alike; each is tailored to the unique needs and preferences of the individual. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves people and takes pride in making a difference every single day.

Base Pay + New Client Referral Incentive.

Pay Check Advancement (after 90 days of employment).
Professional development and training. Training could consist of online, on-the phone, and in-person.
Open Shifts (Urgent Hiring):
Monday - Friday 6:30a - 8:30a & 3:45 - 5:15 (same client)
7 Days A Week 8:30a - 11:30a
Weekend 9p - 11p
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to all company policies, good ethical practices, care plans, and professional boundaries at all times.
Ability to follow written and verbal care plan instructions accurately and with confidentiality.
Demonstrate strong communication skills verbal and written while utilizing data software (HouseCall Pro) to inform, update, monitor and report any and all status changes concerning each client.
Strong organizational and time management skills (working in-between multiple jobs at a-time).
Communicate proactively with supervisors and family members regarding client well-being.
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and professionalism in all client interactions.
Use medical terminology confidently during interactions with healthcare professionals and when recording patient information.
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) that include, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and transfer beds.
Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately in electronic health record (EHR) in combination to medical documentation systems and updating with medical information recorded.
Administer medications safely following prescribed schedules and protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care with sensitivity and respect for client dignity.
Offer companionship, socialization, and emotional support to clients and their families.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Provide medication reminders (non-administration only) to support client health routines.
Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention.
Support light exercise and physical therapy routine assistance as directed.
Provide respite care support for primary family caregivers.
Physical ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and other care tasks safely.
Provide specialized care for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, post-surgery recovery needs, and hospice support.
Transport clients to and from medical appointments, errands, and other destinations using your personal vehicle or company vehicle if available.
Accompany clients on outings and assist with shopping and community errands.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of professional or family caregiving experience (non-medical).
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to first client assignment).
Ability to pass a comprehensive background checks. (criminal history screening, professional reference checks)
Valid driver's license and current auto insurance is required with a passing driving record clarence.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with clients who have Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive conditions.
Pay is reviewed regularly. Caregivers supporting clients with specialized needs (are compensated at the higher end of the range (dementia care, hospice, post-surgical recovery).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Completion of a formal caregiver training program, CNA certification, or related continuing education.
