Training Coordinator (Housing Domain) - HYBRID

• Duration: 6+ months contract
• Work Schedule: Hybrid — 3 days in office, 2 days remote
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Role Description:

• Provide customer service and technical assistance to business areas of Virginia Housing, partners, stakeholders, and consumers.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming calls and email correspondence for the Education & Training team.
• Maintain knowledge of Virginia Housing programs, resources, and operating systems.
• Perform administrative and office management tasks.
• Assist with event management and planning.
• Create and maintain user guides and other instructional resources.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings and training sessions.
• Support training programs and ensure smooth execution of scheduled classes.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• A few years of experience coordinating learning programs or performing administrative tasks.
• Experience working with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
• Experience using virtual meeting platforms such as Webex .
• Experience with surveys, evaluations, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Cvent , including:
• Setting up classes
• Approving agendas
• Providing technical support to partners
• Experience in event planning and coordination.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office , including:
• Word
• Outlook
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of low- and moderate-income housing programs is preferred but not required.
• Project management experience.
• Experience using project management software such as Business Map .
