Physical Therapist Assistant

Role: Physical Therapist Assistant, responsible for delivering patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to improve patient well-being within an established care plan. Key Responsibilities Follow state-specific laws and supervise physical therapy procedures as directed by a licensed PT. Instruct patients in active/passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training. Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare team. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques within scope of practice. Qualifications & Skills Current license, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy assistance. CPR certification, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Ability to work in diverse home environments and perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility. Availability to work weekends. Additional information: Compensation ranges from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour, with benefits including health coverage, incentives, stock purchase, and 401k.
