Part Time NC Boost Program Coordinator II

Assists the administrator in developing, planning and implementing goals and objectives of the NC Boost program through administrative support, recruitment coordination, program development and student support. Plan and organize program development and recruitment effort activities within the NC Boost Program; provide responsible staff support to the administrator through administrative and logistical management; collaborate with Boost coaches to manage the input of student data into ServiceNow data platform. Assists the administrator in developing, planning and implementing goals and objectives of the assigned area through administrative support and program coordination, including leadership development and service-learning initiatives. Recruits and recommends students for the NC Boost program through collaboration with internal and external partners, including non-profit organizations and area high schools; maintains contact and timely communication with prospective students and supports the development of student waitlists for future enrollment. Prepares documentation related to Boost workshops and trainings; schedules dates, rooms and facilitators; reviews schedules for accuracy. Coordinates internal and external classroom visits for recruitment efforts and presentations to promote the program. Assists with ensuring program documentation and tracking requirements are met, including entering and maintaining student data in ServiceNow. Interprets data provided by Boost coaches to help monitor student progress and program outcomes. Monitors Boost leadership development and student engagement activities and recommends additions or changes to ensure alignment with student success goals. Coordinates the development and organization of activity and training outlines or materials. Initiates and supports marketing efforts for the NC Boost program by working with college marketing staff to prepare outreach materials. Makes presentations to schools, community organizations and agencies to promote awareness of the program. Provides administrative assistance to immediate supervisor, including preparing reports, tracking program activities, coordinating with other program areas and supporting even logistics, purchases and material ordering. May assist with or facilitate workshops or training sessions related to leadership development and student engagement, modeling effective facilitation techniques for trainers and student leaders. Advises Boost students on program expectations, participation requirements and available support services. Assist in assessing student engagement and recommending appropriate academic resources. Assists in identifying and communicating with community partners and advisory participants connected to NC Boost program outreach and service-learning initiatives; supports follow-up and documentation as needed. Reviews needs for program supplies, materials and equipment; recommends purchases and assists in tracking inventory and proper use for Boost activities and events. Supports coordination of student volunteer opportunities, leadership roles and service-learning placements. Assists with documentation related to student participation and experiential learning outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree in a discipline relating to the assigned program area and two years of managerial or administrative experience; additional experience or certification may be required for certain programs. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics: Knowledge to student support programs, recruitment strategies and retention initiatives within a college or educational setting Knowledge of program coordination principles, including planning, scheduling and administrative processes; skill in coordinating events, meetings and outreach activities including logistics and material preparation Ability to interpret program data and accurately enter information into electronic systems such as ServiceNow Knowledge of office procedures, recordkeeping and basic data management systems. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Methods and techniques of program marketing and publicity Skill in preparing reports, tracking data and maintaining accurate program documentation Oral and written communication skills Working Conditions: Typical office environment; sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires fingering, grasping, and repetitive keyboarding motions; vocal communications is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; no adverse environmental conditions; infrequently traveling between buildings on campus, to other campuses, locally or out-of-town to attend meetings and conferences. #J-18808-Ljbffr Central Piedmont Community College
