Clinical Services - Cardiology

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a clinical services professional in cardiology. The shift is a 12-hour day shift with 36 scheduled hours per shift. The start date is 08/10/2026, and the end date is 11/07/2026.

About the Facility: This is a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III NICU. It holds Magnet Designation and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The facility has 933 beds. Covid vaccine is required.

General Information: The department is staffed 24/7. All patients are adults; no pediatric cases. Procedures include kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, central line placements, and embolization. Patients seen per day average around 40-50.

Required Licensure and Certifications: RN candidates must have BLS and ACLS. RT(R) candidates must have ARRT, BLS, and a state license.

Skills Required: RN candidates must have experience with interventional radiology patients. RN candidates will administer sedation unless anesthesia is involved. Monitoring and charting of procedures is required for RN candidates. RT(R) candidates must be comfortable scrubbing and panning simultaneously. Experience with the specified interventional radiology cases is preferred.

Technology/Equipment: The facility uses EPIC EMR. IV pumps and medication dispensing equipment are utilized. Other equipment includes ultrasound and various interventional tools.

Scheduling: The RN and RT(R) will be required to participate in weekend and weekday call shifts. Call frequency varies. Response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Holiday expectations may involve call duty. RTO (Request Time Off) approval is available up to 7 days.
