Veterinary Technician / Assistant

The Neighborhood Veterinarian is seeking a veterinary technician/assistant. We are an established, busy two doctor practice in Broad Ripple that caters to the unique culture of the neighborhood. Our goal is to provide top notch customer service combined with the best practices for patient care. A small, seasoned staff means everyone is important and needed. The Neighborhood Veterinarian is a privately owned clinic that continually supports small businesses in the community. We are looking for the right person to join an amazing team and welcome the opportunity for continued growth within the clinic. Applicants must qualify in the following areas: Must be able to work some Saturdays Able to lift 30lbs Reliable to arrive on time and work scheduled shifts IV catheter placement and general phlebotomy skills Animal restraint with a focus on fear free practices Digital radiology Anesthesia monitoring Basic knowledge of preventative care and wellness recommendations Ability to effectively communicate with clients Ability to multitask technician and customer service responsibilities Avimark software knowledge helpful but not necessary All employees are cross-trained with a focus on specific areas.
