You will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair activities in both mechanical and electrical disciplines on processing equipment in a wet and dry manufacturing environment. This position is critical to the safe and efficient operation of our facility. If you enjoy working on a variety of tasks in your day-to-day then Sensient is for you!What You'll Do:Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment as well as emergency repairs and follow plant safety and environmental guidelines while completing daily tasks to ensure both you and your colleagues are kept safeUtilize measuring and testing instruments to locate sources of problems, remove defective parts and adjust functional parts of devices and control instrumentsTroubleshoot and complete complex repairs to equipment while effectively communicating problem with equipment to fellow employees and/or vendors Perform complex repairs to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatical, and natural gas fired equipment to ensure plant is operating at peak efficiencyWhat You'll Bring:A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing performing maintenance and electrical repairs on equipmentThe ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including engines, motors (480V 3 phase), pneumatic tools, pumps, HVAC equipment and production machinesAn understanding of basic hydraulics, electrical, welding and HVAC equipmentAn interest in learning how to use and maintain new equipmentAdaptability to do different activities each day with strong attention to detailWhat You'll Get:Excellent pay, benefit offering, and development opportunities to include 401(k), stock purchase plans and moreA thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyondOpportunity to be part of a highly skilled teamAbout Sensient Sensient Technologies Corporation?is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
