Job Title: Plumbing Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Foreman to direct the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures. This role involves planning, laying out, and supervising plumbing work on job sites and in the shop. The ideal candidate will work independently, except on large construction and modification projects where some technical supervision is provided. Work assignments for maintenance and repair are received via Teams Construction software, written job requests, and emergency calls. Projects are reviewed for compliance with specifications and building codes. Work is performed under general direction and supervision from leads on site.

• Direct the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Plan and lay out plumbing work on job sites and in the shop.
• Supervise and participate in plumbing work.
• Receive and manage work assignments for maintenance and repair through Teams Construction software, written job requests, and emergency calls.
• Ensure construction and remodeling work complies with specifications and building codes.
• Work independently on projects, except when technical supervision is required for large construction and modification projects.

• Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade.
• Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and determine necessary repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts.
• Experience with plumbing installation, blueprint interpretation, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and plumbing materials such as cast iron and PVC.

• Experience with cast iron is a significant advantage.
• Ability to lay out and mark plumbing work.
• Experience in handling storm or sanitary systems.
• Knowledge of working with water and temporary water lines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bordentown, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
