Registered Nurse Endoscopy/GI

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for endoscopy procedures.
  
  
• 
  Operate and manage Olympus scopes and EndoSoft (transitioning to Provation) equipment.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and recovery, ensuring safety and comfort throughout.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures and patient responses accurately in MediTech EMR.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with team members to support efficient unit operations and maintain high standards of patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate previous experience or knowledge in endoscopy or GI procedures.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Be adaptable to flexible scheduling and call requirements.
  
  
• 
  Show proficiency in operating medical equipment and EMRs.
  
  
• 
  Have a reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
