Description At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is to empower individuals and strengthen communities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll help people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals. Position Details: Part‑time afternoon shifts. Location: Colerain, NC and surrounding areas with local community travel. Responsibilities Provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in. Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, bathing, dressing, toiletry, changing diapers, and employment support. Transport clients to appointments and run errands. Help plan and organize the client’s schedule. Maintain daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record. Qualifications Entry‑level; on‑the‑job training provided. High school diploma or GED required. Basic knowledge of housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols. Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability. Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn. Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
