Physical Therapist – Inpatient Schedule: 5x8 – choose Mon–Fri or Tues–Sat Weekend requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Requirements: Minimum of1 year inpatient/acute care experience BLS certification New Mexico (NM) physical therapy license required (may be pending at time of submission) Roles & Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to facilitate rehabilitation goals. Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery processes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic medical record. Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures regarding patient care. Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 24 hours Documentation due 10 days prior to start; compliance must begin within 1–2 weeks of signing. Free parking available. Scrub attire: Black scrub pants and red shirt. Traveler limits: 6-month system break required after 1 year or 4 consecutive assignments.
