Per Diem RN - Operating Room - Float Team

You will serve as a scrub and circulating nurse while providing direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary professional team as you contribute to cutting edge and innovative surgical procedures. Our mission involves you supporting research and education to staff and students. This position floats to various units within the UCLA Health system based on the patient census and the skills of the RN/staff. Hospital locations include but are not limited to the following: Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center UCLA West Valley Medical Center Job Qualifications We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with: Current California RN license and relevant clinical nursing skills, required BSN or MSN degree, required BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required 3 years Operating Room RN experience, required Able to circulate and scrub OR cases including ophthalmology, required ACLS, PALS, and CNOR, preferred Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop/deliver appropriate interventions, involving patients, family and staff Exceptional communication, prioritization, organization and designating skills Thorough understanding of medical/surgical terminology Knowledge of EHR charting Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire. *May convert to career* As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
