As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and child during the birthing process. Your expertise in assessing and managing patient needs will be vital in delivering high-quality care.

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments as per policy
• Utilize appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families
• Develop and revise care plans based on patient response and evaluate effectiveness daily
• Administer medications accurately and safely, adhering to the five medication rights
• Provide age-appropriate care, considering growth and development principles
• Coordinate and supervise patient care, ensuring a safe environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain documentation standards and operate equipment safely
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Postpartum and nursery experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications through AHA required
• Active OH or compact license required
• BSN degree preferred
