Associate Director, Premium Administration

Job Description The Associate Director of Premium Administration reports to the Director of Premium Administration and owns the Premium Audit function end‑to‑end, leading cross‑functional initiatives and delivering reporting and analytics infrastructure to support data‑driven decision making. Responsibilities Own the Premium Audit function end‑to‑end, including audit standards, methodology, scheduling, and quality control. Ensure audit accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of complex audit disputes. Establish and maintain escalation criteria for audit findings and outcomes. Lead cross‑functional stakeholder engagement and proactively identify audit defects. Drive automation opportunities to increase audit capabilities, flag variances, and create guardrails for premium application and reconciliation. Develop premium calculation tools to assist with client education and partner with L&D to enhance training programs for internal partners. Qualifications 5+ years of managerial experience within Group Insurance. Results‑driven leader with demonstrated success driving continuous improvement, streamlining processes, and deploying scalable solutions. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and delivering measurable business outcomes. Proficient in enterprise systems and advanced Microsoft Office tools; strong understanding of insurance products, premium lifecycles, and related accounting impacts. Highly effective communicator and people leader with a proven ability to build trust, develop and coach teams, translate complex financial and operational concepts, and influence diverse stakeholders. Capable of independently leading initiatives and directing staff in alignment with role scope. In addition to your base salary, you are eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award based on individual and overall business performance.
